Ear Infections Be Gone!
Ear infections are experienced by more than 50 percent of infants before they are 1 year old. Often, they develop into chronic conditions. Traditional treatment methods consist of antibiotics and/or surgery – each having associated risks. There is a much safer and, according to certain research, possibly more successful way to manage ear infections. Recent research has shown 8 out of 10 children suffering from inner ear infections achieve full recovery after 6 months of chiropractic care. Through chiropractic adjustments to the neck area, muscles around the Eustachian tubes (responsible for allowing the inner ear to drain) relax and therefore allow proper middle ear drainage. If your child is suffering from ear infections, we encourage you to first try safe, natural, effective chiropractic care.

Smoking is Killing Your Back!
Research on the negative effects of smoking continues to mount. Further research shows nicotine has detrimental effects on the intervertebral discs – the shock absorbing cartilage between the spinal vertebrae. The effects of nicotine on the cells of the intervertebral discs were studied. Researchers found nicotine significantly inhibited the cells ability to proliferate and synthesis. According to the researchers, nicotine in tobacco smoke may have a role in disc degeneration, a primary cause of back problems.
